Day 7 - Begins Sunday at sundown -

We are coming to the end of our first week and the end of the days of consecration.
I want to thank each one of you who have joined us recently.
I am getting about 100-200 hits per post on our 40 days of prayer for healing and restoration.
We appreciate you coming alongside us. I wish we could meet each of you face to face, however, we welcome you here in this setting.

We have a new network of people that will be joining us from Micronesia, as we have a friend here who is leaving this week and taking the link with her to her team there.
I have also enjoyed the things I am reading at God's Kingdom Ministries, and we have sent that link out to several friends as well.

This blog is really the work of the entire prayer group even though I have been posting Scriptures as they have been shared with me...
I hope to have the other authors step forward from time to time and share from their hearts as well.

Let this seventh day be a day of rest, from praying for the region and let's take the next 24 hours to pray for one another.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Leviticus 8 & 9 In this passage of Scripture we read about Moses, consecrating Aaron and his sons for the priesthood. This consecration process took seven days, just like the seven days we have just walked through, then on the eight day they rose up and did the work of the ministry to the people of God. In similar fashion I believe we have already been in the process of consecration, and tomorrow as we enter the eight day we are entering in the role of priests, who are set apart for this ministry.

In the following passage Aaron and his sons were consecrated together on the same day. We want to consecrate ourselves and our children as set apart for the Lord. We believe that one of the greatest things we could hope to see during this time of intercession,  is the returning of the next generation to the Lord, sick of religion they are seeking reality.
Our children simply must have an encounter with the Lord themselves.

And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying: “Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, the anointing oil, a bull as the sin offering, two rams, and a basket of unleavened bread;and gather all the congregation together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting.”So Moses did as the Lord commanded him. And the congregation was gathered together at the door of the tabernacle of meeting. And Moses said to the congregation, “This is what the Lord commanded to be done.”Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water. And he put the tunic on him, girded him with the sash, clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him; and he girded him with the intricately woven band of the ephod, and with it tied the ephod on him. Then he put the breastplate on him, and he put the Urim and the Thummim[a]in the breastplate. And he put the turban on his head. Also on the turban, on its front, he put the golden plate, the holy crown, as the Lord had commanded Moses.10 Also Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them. 11 He sprinkled some of it on the altar seven times, anointed the altar and all its utensils, and the laver and its base, to consecrate them. 12 And he poured some of the anointing oil on Aaron’s head and anointed him, to consecrate him. Leviticus 8:1-12
30 Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and some of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, on his sons, and on the garments of his sons with him; and he consecrated Aaron, his garments, his sons, and the garments of his sons with him.31 And Moses said to Aaron and his sons, “Boil the flesh at the door of the tabernacle of meeting, and eat it there with the bread that is in the basket of consecration offerings, as I commanded, saying, ‘Aaron and his sons shall eat it.’ 32 What remains of the flesh and of the bread you shall burn with fire.33 And you shall not go outside the door of the tabernacle of meeting for seven days, until the days of your consecration are ended. For seven days he shall consecrate you. 34 As he has done this day, so the Lord has commanded to do, to make atonement for you. 35 Therefore you shall stay at the door of the tabernacle of meeting day and night for seven days, and keep the charge of the Lord, so that you may not die; for so I have been commanded.” 36 So Aaron and his sons did all the things that the Lord had commanded by the hand of Moses.

There is also spiritual warfare that generally comes with this kind of prayer and this is no exception.  We would covet your prayers for us to continue to listen, to hear clear direction and obey, continue to press forward.
Your comments and insights would also encourage us as we move forward.

We would like to hear what God is speaking to you as you are joining with us in the this endeavor. We are endeavoring to come out of the shadows a bit in our local gatherings.  I will be putting some short videos together to help people understand what we do at our weekly gatherings. Don, Aaron, and Andy have been interviewed and others will be interviewed in the next couple of weeks. This is an informational and inspirational message we are reaching out to others who may be interested in intercession.

  1. Today when I opened God's word the book of Amos is where I opened to. I read through the entire book (KJV ) it's a pretty heavy book with the concept of 3 transgressions and for 4, when added together equals 7 ( completeness) I got this from some commentary on Amos 1. So tonight I went back to reading Amos in hopes to understand why this book for today. There is what I think is a point mercy and grace in the middle chapter 5 as a whole but more importantly Amos 5:14,15 New Scofield reference edition KJV. Also heard on the radio a bit about having clean hands before we lift them up. This is found in 1 Timothy 2:8 but that whole chapter seems interesting. This is where I am at today I don't know if it is in line with the 40 days or if God is shaping my own understanding, I thought I would send it to you.
