WAS OUR THANKSGIVING SEASON TOO SHORT?
Thanksgiving with feasting was instructed by God as a Joyful lifestyle, this feasting lasted seven or eight days twice each year. God instructed his people to set aside 10% of their income in order to have funds to enjoy the fruits of their hands three times a year in his presence. Each of these times was connected to a particular Harvest. we find these instructions in Deuteronomy. “You shall truly tithe all the increase of your grain that the field produces year by year. And you shall eat before the Lord your God, in the place where He chooses to make His name abide, the tithe of your grain and your new wine and your oil, of the firstborn of your herds and your flocks, that you may learn to fear the Lord your God always .
