Gathered Around the Fire

TNP – Sept 6, 2012  Godliness with Contentment is great Gain.   Don was playing worship songs from Gateway it was good. We got out of there around midnight. We started out with a joyful time of worship to a couple of Brain Doerksen songs off of the worship CD “Live in London”  We finished the soaking time with the song come to me featuring Jenn Johnson from the loft sessions CD. We responded to the song “Come to Me I am all you need” by singing it back to the Lord (you are all that I need) and the Spirit’s presence was powerful as we declared that God is all we need , that He is our everything, he is our anchor in the wind and the waves, He is our steadfast so we won’t be afraid. I felt like the scripture God gave me for the night was  “Godliness with contentment is great gain.”  I Tim. 6:6 Command those who are rich in this present age not to be haughty, nor trust in uncertain riches but in the living God, who gives us richly all things to enjoy.
