There are four kinds of posts you might find included here:
- My personal journal entries from the Thursday Night Prayer meetings go back to 2010. These posts will be preceded by the letters TNP -
- Daily posts from our 40-day Prayer Campaign* which took place in the fall of 2013. Designated by DAY-1 through DAY-40.
- Some posts will be thoughts about things I am contemplating, working through, and studying; They may not be polished, and they may not even be well thought out; These posts will not be preceded by any prefix.
- Posts for fun or to challenge us to think differently - Occasionally I may make comments that are interesting or even humorous to me, they are not meant to be doctrinal statements. Although I do enjoy it when numbers or patterns appear in Scripture or in circumstances and hint at a deeper meaning. They may perhaps solidify or reveal what God is doing as a confirming witness. I am not attempting to make any doctrinal statements about numerology, nor am I interested in running my life by numbers. Having said that, which of you dads or moms have never written little notes, and tucked them into a pocket or lunch bag solely to show a son or daughter you are thinking of them? God is a good Father and is at least as mindful to hide things for His kids to find. Hiding a secret message from the public and inserting it where His kids will discover it if only for their enjoyment and encouragement.

*40 days of prayer - How it all started
One of the members of our group, after reading the book The Happy Intercessor authored by Beni Johnson, was led to drive around the city of Mankato and pray over this city.
And God asked him this question...
"Is this your promised land?
On December 26th, 2013 we walked with the Dakota 38 riders as they came into Mankato from the land of Memories. A few hours later we helped feed 430 people at a local church. In 2014 we plan again to be prepared to feed the Dakota 38 riders and the people who join them on this last leg of the journey.

the campaign itself
"Return to the Lord."
We launched a 40-day season of intercessory prayer for this region to return to the Lord, in the fall of 2013. We believe it has been the most significant thing we have done during our six years on this prayer journey. We wish you could have been part of it. However, you can read the daily posts here and gather some of what was going on during these exciting days of being immersed in prayer for our region.
We began on Aug 5 and continued through September 14th. On the evening of September 4th 25 of us traveled to the city of Blue Earth, MN and gathered on the banks of the Blue Earth River, go to DAY 31 for a summary of what happened there. Our good friend 'Jacob Farmer' also joined us for this event, (Jacob has since passed over another river, Jordan and is sttanding with our High Priest on that other shore.)
We continued to pray for 10 more days after our trek to the Blue Earth River. We culminated this journey with a declaration of Jubilee release on The Day of Atonement in Mankato See Day 40 for Details.
In the weeks that followed, we were put into contact with the Dakota Nation and we participated in their walk for remembrance, seeking forgiveness for the generations on both sides of the original conflict. As part of our connection, we helped to organize the food for over 400 on December 26th the 151st anniversary of the mass hanging on December 26, 1862. Again thanks to those who joined us. We were just seven individuals seeking to please our Lord by becoming peacemakers.
In 2014 we are anticipating up to 600 -800 people to feed on December 26th in Mankato. We are told they will not only be coming from several states in the U.S. but also from foreign nations such as South Africa and Sweden to be a part of this ride for remembrance in 2014.

I have been involved in the decree as posted by Dr. Stephen Jones from the first day. I prayed extensively about this matter as I am both white and of Iroquois decent. I was led by Father to fast and pray for three full days and nights which I finished Sunday evening at 6:00PM. For good measure I did not eat until the following morning. My intercession continued through the four nights with Father having me anoint myself with the oil of Intercession. The early morning of September 2, 2013, I felt a completeness and a peace. A brother in Christ.
ReplyDeleteDear Brother we are about to embark on a work of similar reconciliation. One of our number wishes to create a retreat center in Maine but she is being impeded by many forces. She and her husband live in the oldest house is a town in Mass which belonged to the Rev Parish who was instrumental in the execution of many Christ followers who were falsely accused of being witches. He owed the Taino/African slave who introduced occult practices to the girls in the famed "witch burnings of Salem". There was also other native blood shed that was wrong here on the land. I am Taino and I am in the prayer circle and so is the chief of the local Massachusetts Indians (or praying Indians). I do not believe I just read this post for nothing. I was aware of this site for many months but did not have the opportunity to read it. Please join us in Prayer that the curses here be broken and that the Father's will be done.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing. We will pray with you and would love to hear more about what is going on there.
