THE BARLEY LOAF IN THE OVAL OFFICE DREAM FULFILLED  August 22, 2017 Four years ago today, in 2013 during our 40-day prayer campaign, I saw a two-part vision during a prayer meeting. Someone that you know, probably drove hundreds of miles to see the sun extinguished for a few moments around noon today. They may have been planning their trip for days, weeks, or even months or years!   I had a friend who drove this weekend to the "Show Me" state in hopes of having the sun, moon, and stars show him something of the grandeur of God's created Cosmos.  Where I live it was only a partial eclipse, but at lunch today with some friends, we stopped for a moment outside the restaurant and put on protective eyewear to catch a glimpse of the "small" beginning of the eclipse.  Using the protective glasses you could see the process without the resulting blindness that would come without the protection. The change in light level was unnoticeable to the naked eye at the beginning. But, 60 minutes later it was definitely darker, because of the heavy cloud cover where we were it was not apparent if it was the shadow of the moon or the shadow of the c

I went to lunch with a friend today and he encouraged me to send out this post. If you don't mind, I will share what I am thinking about today as I get ready to observe Teshuvah. Teshuvah (return) is a season to reflect and it starts at sundown today  (at the second sundown if you count the eclipse that happened at 1:05 PM CDT as the first sundown)  It begins 30 days just prior to the feast of Trumpets, 10 more days after  Trumpets  makes it a 40 day season of "returning" to the LORD. leading up to the celebration of the Day of Atonement (known as the Great and Terrible Day of the Lord.  "Don't just do something, stand there" - Henry Blackaby In his books on Experiencing God, Henry Blackaby says that we need to find out what God is doing and then join Him in doing that thing.  According to the biblical calendar laid out by God Himself,  God is granting grace (the empowerment to respond) for "returning" .  What are you sayin

We read in Scripture that; God gave Adam (red-earthy) dominion over the entire earth, and all created things.  Adam gave away that dominion during the intercourse with the devil the Fall of Man. Jesus as the second Adam regained that dominion through the Cross, descending into Hell and ascending again with an immortal (glorious) body.  In order for FULL restoration of Adam's (earthly) dominion to take place, a Son of Adam must again rule over the whole natural earth. Fortunately, Jesus qualifies as a son of Adam, since He was "born of a woman, born under the Law."  therefore He is the only one who qualifies to rule in Adam's place. JESUS' LIFE IS SUMMED UP IN THREE SIGNIFICANT DATES! DELAYED PROMISES  They missed the two-part fulfillment, required of long-term Biblical prophecies, as we often do today. Everything Jesus put his hand to during the Passion week was purposeful and timed down to the hour, even to the minute, to align with the 'Instructions'. (the word Torah is sometimes translated as the Law but its literal meaning is instructions) . He was purposefully walking out by obedience to the fulfillment of prophetic words given centuries earlier, stepping into a prophetic dimension, to become a sign and a wonder by his physical obedience to the Father. INCORRUPTIBLE BREAD Passover and the seven days that follow it are days in which all of God's people ate unleavened bread.  What's so special about Matzo bread?  Matzo bread does not spoil,  it does not mold. It is incorruptible. It can be sealed in a box for years and be taken out and used. Because all of the impurities that would feed bacteria have been "tested by fire" and removed. The unleavened bread signifies, the sinless God-man, Jesus, the second Adam, who was the incorruptible bread that came down out of heaven, This Bread (His body) did not see decay,  because there was no sin found in Him that could hold Him in the grave.  "The wages of Sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life." The crowd was huge, people lined the road between the Mount of Olives and Bethpage. They were standing shoulder to shoulder, sitting on their parent's shoulders. Everyone was hoping to catch a glimpse of the parade its pomp and circumstance. The media people were all in place vying to be the first to record any significant occurrence. The whole nation had gathered together over 1.2 million people crammed like sardines into Jerusalem. The shepherds would be leading their sacrificial lambs, to the ancient city and into the Sheep gate of the Temple on the north side. in that flock was the one lamb which would ultimately be chosen to cover the nation's sins, as the National Pesach Lamb. Quietly, undetected at first, they saw a man riding on the foal of a donkey, This had never happened before! Aviv 1 or Nisan 1 is the first day of the year according to an ancient history expert and Hebrew culturist. who goes by several names,  Jehovah, Yahweh, but most often, referred to as GOD. Jehovah instructed His people (the Hebrews) to make this month the first month of the year. He instructed them that each month was to begin on the New moon. Days, He said, started at the evening and finished their course the following evening.  Based on this instruction, we learn that throughout history, the Hebrews spent the first fourteen days of the year in removing leaven from their homes. They would go from room to room and  they would search and remove any leaven found in their dwellings. They would remove the drawers and turn them upside down, even wiping out the corners. WHO CARES ABOUT PROPHETIC SIGNS?  The Bible is loaded with prophetic signs.  If they were just symbolic parallels, why give them the time of day? But... If they were God's signposts, in order to get us to the right place, at the right time.   If they were meant to keep us in step with Him  Then it seems, it would be of great consequence to observe His signs.  Yesterday, I spoke about the thirteen days of removing leaven from the Hebrew homes instituted by God's command to remove leaven before the eve of Passover.  I mentioned the parallel of Jesus (the Hebrew carpenter turned preacher) choosing these 13 days to be the period of time where He came into the temple and saw the money changers, which He had certainly seen on other occasions throughout His life...So why did He take action today?  Well... On this occasion, two (2)  legal events came together for the first time in history.  Jesus Son of God and Son of man had turned 30 years of age. and became a
