12 REASONS - NEW COVENANT BELIEVERS SHOULD OBSERVE THE FEAST OF TRUMPETS

Image
TRUMPETS - Are you aware of this forgotten Holy Day?  You will be hard-pressed to find a more significant and comprehensive Holy Day for the New Covenant Church of Jesus Christ...  There are 12 major themes connected to this one day.  1. Day of  AWAKENING BLAST .- Yom Teruah (victorious shout)  2. The final 10 days of TESHUVAH (which means to return or turn around.)  3. The LAST TRUMP - 4.  The FIRST RESURRECTION .  5. Head of the World - (the  BIRTHDAY of ADAM  on the sixth day of creation.)  6. MESSIAH'S   WEDDING DAY  - (like a thief in the night stealing His bride away for the wedding)  7. Day of  Remembrance  - God Remembers all of His Covenants, He made with mankind.  8. Day  THE BOOKS ARE OPENED , Heaven's COURT is NOW IN SESSION, and the JUDGE is SEATED (the Day of Justice)  9. Day of the  OPENING the GATES  of HEAVEN - FULL ACCESS for prayer and petition.  10. Launches the DAYS OF AWE - The time of JACOB'S TROUBLE (God pursues Israel like a lost son.).  11.  ME

THE PROMISE of THE FATHER

Image
Last time we talked about the three baptisms in Scripture..,  The Holy Spirit baptizes (immerses) us in Jesus  - freedom from bondage and Death The disciple of Christ baptizes in Water  - putting the old man to death Jesus Baptizes us in/with the Holy Spirit - Newness of Life explosive power in the Promise and Fire to refine us.  Jesus speaks to his disciples about the Promise of His Father... And you are witnesses of these things. Behold, I send the Promise of My Father upon you ; but tarry in the city of Jerusalem until you are endued with power from on high . Luke 24:48-49 "And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; “for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”  Acts 1:5  - Peter lists the three steps required in Acts 2:38, referring to  the three baptisms  Repent , unto Salvation (be

RECEIVING THE HOLY SPIRIT - 3 Baptisms in the Scriptures

THREE BAPTISMS OF SCRIPTURE  The Holy Spirit baptizes (baptizo ) us in Jesus - the Baptism of the Holy Spirit -  " for "by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body"    1 Corinthians 12:13  The disciple Baptizes  (baptizo )  us in Water "G o therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit."   Matthew 28:19 Jesus baptizes  (baptizo )  us in/with the Holy Spirit - Baptism in the Holy Spirit  “I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire.  Matthew 3:11  The Greek word Baptizo is used to describe all three baptisms  This choice of words indicates much more than a simple 'dipping' or immersing in a liquid as the Greek word Bapto would indicate.  The word Bapto is found in four places in the New Testament  Luke 16:24, twice in John 13:26, a

13 Reasons Why Christians Should Stop - Dreaming of a 'White' Christmas!

There is some debate about the date that Jesus was born, however, most scholars agree that He was NOT born on December 25 th !  This Solistic invention of the fourth century A.D.  was pulled from a Pagan carnival called  Saturnalia honoring the false god Saturn.  The prophet Daniel foretold that this 4 th World Empire Rome would attempt if it were possible to alter the ‘appointed times of the Lord' and even the ‘seasons’. Some have argued for the Fall Feast of ‘Trumpets’ also known as Rosh Hashanah for Jesus' Birth. The lambs would not be 'watched in the fields by night' during the fall, only when the ewes are ready to cast their young in the Spring. Also, the fall feasts foreshadow His second coming as King, and the Feast of Trumpets is also the coronation day of the King.  I want to give some reasons why many believe it was the first day of the month of Abib (which literally means spring) also known by its Babylonian name Nisan.  Here are a baker’s dozen of thing

WHAT COMES FIRST THE WHEAT OR THE WINE?

Image
As we open the book of Judges in chapter 6, we find Gideon, a young man who is alone and hiding out. He is secretly threshing (beating) the wheat in the winepress because he is afraid of being found out, exposed, and losing his harvest.  He was doing the right thing, (beating wheat), during the right season, (the wheat harvest), but he is doing it all in the wrong place. The Threshing Floor      The angel of the Lord came and sat down under the oak in Ophrah that belonged to Joash the Abiezrite, where his son  Gideon was threshing wheat in a winepress  to keep it from the Midianites. When the angel of the Lord appeared to Gideon, he said, “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.”  Judges 6:11-12 For those familiar with the 7 Feasts of the Lord t   'Gideon was  threshing wheat  in the  winepress '   This simple turn of phrase  in Scripture should immediately stand out.  It indicates a much bigger issue than simply hiding out for fear of the Midianites.  The winepress in Scriptur

SEPERATION OF THE CHURCH AND STATE WAS NOT GOD'S IDEA

Image
THE ORGANIZED CHURCH SHIES AWAY FROM BEING INVOLVED IN GOVERNMENT.  But we were designed by our Creator to govern on the earth, it is our destiny!  God's people in the church for the most part have forgotten that our destiny is to be God's Ultimate Government on earth! His ekklesia.   This dominion authority was given to Adam when he was in a covenant relationship with God the Creator. When Adam and Eve broke that covenant man's authority was given over by Adam to the evil one, because he listened and followed the instructions of the enemy.  When Jesus died and was buried, He descended into Hell and took the keys to death, hell, and the grave. He rose again and ascended into Heaven to restore that authority to the sons of Adam and the Daughters of Eve, who are in a covenant relationship with Him.  A False Teaching that can foster Complacency in the people of God.  We invite people to repeat a short simple prayer, offering them the promised hope of going to Heaven for eter

WHAT RULER CALLS FOR A FEAST AND THEN POSTPONES IT FOR 40 YEARS?

Image
Yesterday was the celebration of the Feast of First Fruits. This Feast stands out from the others in that directly  inserted   into the instruction to observe it, is a directive of a postponed timetable to observe it.  Immediately after He commanded Israel to observe this Feast. He told them, "but you cannot observe it, until after you go into the Promised Land." So there was a 40-year postponement to the requirement to observe it.  Since God has a purpose for everything He does and says... We should look into why He included a built-in delay. All of the Feasts of the Lord are Feasts of Thanksgiving unto God. This one celebrates specifically the Barley (the Overcomer) and Flax (Priesthood) harvest. The timing of this feast also correlates to the Spring 'lambing' season or the 'harvest' of lambs (sacrifice). So if we look at all three 'harvests together, what is the hidden message of  (Wave Sheaf) Resurrection Sunday? Lamb = Sacrifice = Jesus

THE LAMB WHO WOULD BE KING!

Image
When I think of the story of the Triumphal Entry of Jesus a.k.a Palm Sunday, I have to admit, that until very recently I still saw it through the coloring book page I was given in Sunday School as a child. An artist took what they knew and created a pretty picture. But was the artist's rendition accurate to the account in Scripture? Others perhaps have imagined a modern parade like one they might have experienced as a child. The whole community came early just to get the best seat with a good point of view. I have seen this event like that as well. Crowds line the streets along the entire parade route, many wearing special clothing in the colors of the flag RED, WHITE and BLUE.  Young kids waving flags and grandparents sitting on their canvas camping chairs. Lots of anticipation craning necks to see all the decorated floats, the marching bands, being led by dance teams, and even the appearance of Uncle Sam walking atop a tall pair of stilts. Clowns jugglers, queens, and princesses

Purim - A Day for Reversals

Image
In the Book of Esther, Haman cast the 'Pur' (cast lots, similar to rolling the dice but calling on occult arts)  with evil intent, it was  to determine the best day to attack the people of God.  In the twelfth year of King Xerxes, in the first month, the month of Nisan, the pur (that is, the lot) was cast in the presence of Haman to select a day and month.  And the lot fell on the twelfth month, the month of Adar. Esther 3:7 The scripture indicates that the day Haman cast the Pur was the 13th day of Nisan.  Then on the thirteenth day of the first month , the royal secretaries were summoned. They wrote out in the script of each province and in the language of each people all Haman’s orders to the king’s satraps, the governors of the various provinces, and the nobles of the various peoples. These were written in the name of King Xerxes himself and sealed with his own ring . Esther 3:12 Dispatches were sent by couriers to all the king’s provinces with the order to destroy, kill an
