Purim - A Day for Reversals

In the Book of Esther, Haman cast the 'Pur' (cast lots, similar to rolling the dice but calling on occult arts) with evil intent, it was to determine the best day to attack the people of God. 

In the twelfth year of King Xerxes, in the first month, the month of Nisan, the pur (that is, the lot) was cast in the presence of Haman to select a day and month. 

And the lot fell on the twelfth month, the month of Adar. Esther 3:7

The scripture indicates that the day Haman cast the Pur was the 13th day of Nisan. 

Then on the thirteenth day of the first month, the royal secretaries were summoned. They wrote out in the script of each province and in the language of each people all Haman’s orders to the king’s satraps, the governors of the various provinces, and the nobles of the various peoples. These were written in the name of King Xerxes himself and sealed with his own ring. Esther 3:12

Dispatches were sent by couriers to all the king’s provinces with the order to destroy, kill and annihilate all the Jews—young and old, women and children—on a single day, the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, and to plunder their goods. Esther 3:13 

Centuries later on that same day the 13th day of the first month. - Jesus instituted the Lord's Supper and within 24 hours, the Roman Soldiers were casting lots (Pur) to determine who would get His garments. 

On the 23rd of the third month, Mordecai wrote out orders to the Jews in their own language. 

At once the royal secretaries were summoned—on the twenty-third day of the third month, the month of Sivan. They wrote out all of Mordecai’s orders to the Jews and to the satraps, governors, and nobles of the 127 provinces stretching from India to Cush. These orders were written in the script of each province and the language of each people and also to the Jews in their own script and language.

In the twelfth month on the 13th day, God's people had a chance to prepare to fortify themselves to take out those who wanted to exterminate them. Their reversal was so successful Esther asked the king for a second day to finish the job in the capital on the 14th day of the month. With a celebration of their freedom and their deliverance, this time God used their own ability to fight.to defeat their enemies. 

Here we are at the end of two years of intense warfare against the survival of the church, where the powers that be like Hamon want to put an end to God's people having any authority, in Schools, universities, on social media, and especially in government. 

And the Church has forgotten that our destiny is to become God's Government on Earth!
