A WRINKLE IN TIME... another JESUS PEOPLE movement?

First the Natural... 
The Jesus People Church in Minneapolis begun in 1972, came out of the REVIVAL meetings held 7 days a week for several weeks at Souls Harbor, Downtown Minneapolis in the fall of 1971. 

Coincidentally, the congregation at the renewed Jesus People Church now in Rogers, MN set aside Friday, May 2, 2014, for a Jesus People Church Reunion. 

They invited all those who were part of the Jesus People Church in Minneapolis during the 70s and 80s; as part of that congregation in the past, my wife and I received a personal invitation to attend. But we did not go the gala event at a ritzy hotel in Minneapolis.

Then the Spiritual! 
The same weekend, I also received a personal invitation for Saturday, 5/3/14 to hear Cindy Jacobs at the House Church at 2024 Rahn Road in Eagan, MN. She prophesied that night "another Jesus People Movement" to come. As I sat in that "physical place where I had been one of the Jesus People church elders 25 years earlier, and talk about another Jesus People movement coming, amazing! This was the first and only time in my life so far to hear Cindy Jacobs speak.

Cindy Jacobs prophesied a new Jesus People Movement - A great harvest of souls in Minnesota.

This was our vision for this place a great harvest of Souls in Dakota county the fastest growing county in the country in 1987. The House Church gathers in a building that has so many spiritual memories for me. It was here that I first learned about prophetic prayer and intercession.

• We gathered six days a week at 6 am to pray.
• I first experienced God teaching me to give a prophetic declaration.
• First-hand experience, carrying the people on my heart as an elder
• First experience receiving words of knowledge. 
• First insight on how to pray prophetically over them.

It was here in this building that I encountered the Lord as a wind that swept over me and a voice spoke to me on two occasions just 3 months apart. These two encounters led me to eventually sell my new house in Rosemount, quit my job and move physically to Mankato, on July 31, 1993. 

Now, 21 years later the pastor (Jamey) at the House Church is declaring a revival that will follow the MN River Valley through 10 cities from Mendota to Mankato, from the same exact 'house' I left to move to Mankato for a revival God showed me in 1992, would be coming here to the MN valley.

HISTORY 
My wife and I were members of the remnant congregation of the Jesus People Church.  About 300 in number, we bought this 7-acre plot of land in Eagan and built the Phase I building which exists today. We gathered here in the late 80s under the name Cedar Ridge Christian Church, it later became known as Cedar Ridge Church. We held regional Worship conferences each year and people came from across the five-state area to attend our Worship conferences held in this facility. 

In the years that followed after my wife and I moved to Mankato, the church experienced a few pastoral changeovers and eventually became part of Bloomington Assy. of God, there were meetings for a while as a satellite church but then it was used primarily as a storage facility for many years. 

As I lay in bed just last night, several thoughts were circling through my head, I was contemplating the timing of the actual construction of this building. It was completed in the spring of 1987 but the groundbreaking ceremony was held in 1986.

The thought struck me that this building might be prophetically connected somehow with my firstborn son Joshua, and his generation, Joshua was born on March 17, 1986, his birth was announced by prophetic word the year before. 

So, if they are connected in the Spirit, if the long-vacant building is again being put to harvest activation, then I can pray with new vigor for harvest activation for my son and his generation.
