Day 40 - JUBILEE - LIBERTY TO ALL INHABITANTS OF THE LAND!
DAY 40 - starts at sundown 7:32 pm Friday, September 13
Is this your Jubilee?
Every 50th year the Day of Atonement was to be replaced by blowing a trumpet of the Jubilee.
Instead of mourning and fasting, it was to be a day of rejoicing and jubilation.
At the end of the Day of Atonement, THE FAST WAS BROKEN,
because it was a complete fast of food and drink, in one sense you could say;
the Day of Atonement, became the acceptable Year of the Lord.
The treader of grapes will overtake the sower, in the sense that he who goes out sowing in tears will come again with rejoicing bringing in the sheaves.
Food and drink and the two silver trumpets came out as well as the rams horn trumpet to announce the reconciliation process was completed and liberty was gained for all.
So we read in Leviticus 25:8-13
Remember how Don first got started on this journey?
The LORD asked him "is this your promised land?" it was right after the day of remembrance marking 150 years, or three Jubilee Sabbaths.
In this Jubilee year that we make a declaration that:
"We proclaim: THIS IS OUR PROMISED LAND!
We proclaim to the land and its inhabitants THIS IS YOUR JUBILEE!
"WE ANNOUNCE
Liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants."
That each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan."
We proclaim to the native nations this is the year to return to your own property.
We proclaim to the federal government, liberty to all throughout the land to all its inhabitants
This trumpet blast of Jubilee signals a permanently release of all unpaid debts.
All who have lost their land through debt or broken treaties, could return and reclaim their inheritance.
The money that was to be paid by the federal government be restored to the Indian Nations to whom it is owed.

The Day of Atonement was a solemn day of fasting and repentance held once a year on the tenth day of the seventh month. This was held 10 days after the Feast of Trumpets:
On exactly the tenth day of the seventh month is the Day of Atonement; it shall be a holy convocation for you, and you shall humble your souls and present an offering by fire to the LORD. Neither shall you do any work on the same day, for it is a Day of Atonement, to make atonement on your behalf before the LORD your God, Lev.23:27
Every 50th year the Day of Atonement was to be replaced by blowing a trumpet of the Jubilee.
Instead of mourning and fasting, it was to be a day of rejoicing and jubilation.
It is believed that this psalm was written by King David when he returned to his house after the rebellion by his son Absolam. How fitting that this would be the Psalm for today, the day we declare the articles of Jubilee, namely, that all dispossessed, inhabitants of the land return to their houses and to their lands, and their families. You have turned for me my mourning into dancing; You have put off my sackcloth and clothed me with gladness, To the end that my glory may sing praise to You and not be silent. O Lord my God, I will give thanks to You forever. Psalm 30
At the end of the Day of Atonement, THE FAST WAS BROKEN,
because it was a complete fast of food and drink, in one sense you could say;
- the famine (lack of food) was ended
- or the drought (lack of drink) was ended
the Day of Atonement, became the acceptable Year of the Lord.
Sorrowful brokenness was replaced by Joyous celebration. This is the year of the Favor of the LORD.
This is the day of the venegence of Our God.
The treader of grapes will overtake the sower, in the sense that he who goes out sowing in tears will come again with rejoicing bringing in the sheaves.
“Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord,“When the plowman shall overtake the reaper,And the treader of grapes him who sows seed; The mountains shall drip with sweet wine,And all the hills shall flow with it.14 I will bring back the captives of My people Israel; They shall build the waste cities and inhabit them; They shall plant vineyards and drink wine from them; They shall also make gardens and eat fruit from them. Amos 9:12-14
Food and drink and the two silver trumpets came out as well as the rams horn trumpet to announce the reconciliation process was completed and liberty was gained for all.
So we read in Leviticus 25:8-13
8 “‘Count off seven sabbath years—seven times seven years—so that the seven sabbath years amount to a period of forty-nine years. 9 Then have the trumpet sounded everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month; on the Day of Atonement sound the trumpet throughout your land.
10 Consecrate the fiftieth year and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It shall be a jubilee for you; each of you is to return to your family property and to your own clan.
11 The fiftieth year shall be a jubilee for you; do not sow and do not reap what grows of itself or harvest the untended vines. 12 For it is a jubilee and is to be holy for you; eat only what is taken directly from the fields.13 “‘In this Year of Jubilee everyone is to return to their own property.

I was the person who was introduced to you by a friend at Arby’s on Yom Kippur. I attended the vigil fire the night before the 150th commemoration of the Dakota 38 hanging. That night I prayed and ask that the LORD give me a song to tell the story. The name of that song is “Forgive Everyone Everything.”
ReplyDeleteVerse 1: They came from afar to Dakota homeland, where the buffalo roamed. They talked about forgiveness, love and truth. Thou shalt not steal. They had fled tyrants and kings, famine, plague and sword. Many kindred tribes and tongues, became one nation.
Chorus: Some fought for the tribe, some fought for their wives, some dies so their children could eat. Others decided to turn the other cheek, all wanted to be free.
Verse 2: The earth is the LORD’s and the fullness thereof, everything is His. But the Bluecoats forked tongued treaties, said the land will be forever theirs. The day after Christmas, from the gallows hung thirty eight braves. Dakota tribe was scattered to the four winds, must live on reservations.
Interlude of the song Many and Great: [song sung by Dakota while on the gallows.] Wakantanka taku nitawa tankaya qaota; mahpiya kin eyahnake ca, makakin he duowanca. Mniowanca sbeya wanke cin, hena ovakihi. Many and great, O God, are Thy things, Maker of earth and sky; Thy hands have set the heavens with stars, Thy fingers spread the mountains and plains. Lo, at Thy word the waters were formed; Deep seas obey Thy voice. Grant unto us communion with Thee, Thou star-abiding One; Come unto us and dwell with us: With Thee are found the gifts of life. Bless us with life that has no end, Eternal life with Thee.
Chorus: Some fought for the tribe, some fought for their wives, some dies so their children could eat. Others decided to turn the other cheek, all wanted to be free.
Verse 3: One hundred fifty years passed, Dakota riders returned. With a message of healing, peace in the heart, reconciliation. We have the same Creator, who loves us all. Red, White, Black and Yellow, will someday live as one.
Coda: Forgive Everyone Everything, through understanding comes healing. Idle no more, I’ll be silent no more. Rights and justice for all!
