A group of us Took our vehicles to the Blue Earth River in Blue Earth, MN 90 minutes before sundown and conducted a reconciliation event at the Blue Earth River with prayer, worship reading of Scriptures, prophetic acts, and declarations.
We welcome you from your homes around the globe, to join with us in the Spirit.
We welcome you from your homes around the globe, to join with us in the Spirit.
We have seen many friends from other countries following our blog over the last 30 days and we welcome you to take part in this as well. from the USA, Canada, France, Germany, Russia, Serbia, United Kingdom, Netherlands, Australia, New Zealand, Philppines, South Korea, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Ecuador, and Honduras.
We invite you to pour in the oil and the wine into situations that need reconciliation. Especially if you live in the USA and have issues in your area that need reconciliation between first nation peoples and the U.S. government regarding broken treaties.
Maybe your region or nation has racial tension, or mistreatment of one or more tribes, nations, kindreds or tongues, at this time of the year, it is good to clear the decks. You know, all of these will stand with us before the throne of God. Out of every tribe, every nation, every tongue, every kindred.
Here is the loose agenda we will be following tonight in Blue Earth...
Prayer at the Headwaters of the Blue
Earth River
Why are we
here? This is the statement of purpose
the Holy Spirit has given:
“Repenting of broken covenants in
order to end the famine and bring the reign of the Holy Spirit that causes us
to hear the word of God.”
“If my people who are called by my
name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their
wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will
heal their land” 2
Chronicles 7.14
Three basic parts to be interlaced
with worship, prayer and prophetic words:
Song: Times of
Refreshing Written by
David Smith 2000 – Jubilee
1. Confession and Repentance
- Confess and take responsibility for our sins and for previous generations
- Repent of the broken covenants and shedding of innocent blood
- Open Prayers of repentance
Specifically, we ask forgiveness for the following:
- Taking ancestral lands of the Native Americans without appropriate remuneration out of greed and selfishness, and then stealing much of the said remuneration often leaving them destitute and starving.
- For broken covenants, promising them territory and later taking it back with no regard for their needs as a people, constantly forcing them into smaller and more remote locations that no one else wanted.
- For racial pride and arrogance that caused us to regard them as people unworthy of dignity and respect as fellow human beings.
- For cursing them with all kinds of epithets, such as savage, stupid, lazy, degenerate, and many other such names that caused a corporate consciousness that degraded them in the eyes of white people.
- For refusing to treating our Native American neighbors as we ourselves would want to be treated by feeding the hungry, clothing the naked and healing the sick and wounded, bearing their burdens with the heart of Jesus.
With specific reference to the 1862 Dakota war, we ask
forgiveness for the following:
- For
depriving the Dakota people of food and provision forcing them to react
out of desperation, even to the point of violence.
- For
placing the Dakota people in concentration camps, including women and
children who had no involvement in the hostilities, then providing
insufficient food and further hindering outsiders who wished to help.
- For
placing bounties on Dakota scalps.
- Punishing
and even executing the innocent without due process of the law.
- Punishing
the guilty without any accountability for the grievous sins that drove
them to desperation.
- For banishing them from lands promised to them, or even from living anywhere in the State of Minnesota.
With reference to mission work among the Dakotas:
- We
give thanks for all those past and present who have given their hearts and
lives for the cause of the gospel of Jesus Christ among these people.
- We ask
forgiveness on behalf of the body of Christ for our ignorance in our
dealings with them by being more concerned with forcing the white man’s
culture on them without thoroughly understanding their cultural framework
and letting the truths of the gospel bring transformation from within.
- We ask
forgiveness for presenting a gospel having a form of godliness but denying
the power thereof, power to deliver from the darkness of demonic bondage,
from the bondage of addictions and from the hopelessness and despair which
our treatment of them engendered.
- We ask for forgiveness on behalf of us and the majority of your people who, while daily feasting on the abundance you have provided, have ignored the Lazarus lying on our doorstep, hungry, clothed in rags and covered with sores.
Read Ps. 102 entitled “Nation’s prayer is like that of an
afflicted man.”
2.

- Sowing barley in the river, 2 Samuel 21.9, healing of broken covenants
- Placing the tree in the river to heal the bitter waters, Exodus 15.22-26
- Pouring in the oil and the sweet wine.
- Communion without the shedding of blood there is no remission of sins.
- Open Prayer
3. Declarations of Reconciliation-see additional pages

- Ephesians 2.14-18, reconcile both of them to God through the cross
