This post is about the Minneapolis Miracle in 1971  October 1971 - Minneapolis Miracle It began with A special weekend prayer retreat at the campus of Camp Courage just west of Minneapolis. That weekend Dick Eastman used the gift of Word of knowledge to call out almost a hundred youth one by one telling them what God had called them to do, recalling events and conversations that had happened at the time of that previous event.  I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit that night with at least 30 others. God was present in a tangible way as the Spirit hovered over our camp. This post is about my reoccurring connection to the Minnesota Miracle and how God has kept the dream alive for a revival in Minnesota that He wants to bring to birth.  October 1971 - Minnesota Miracle Seventeen years old and on my way to a weekend retreat at Camp Courage. There I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit on Friday night with many other young people. The rest of that weekend was supernatural, none of us (over 100 high school and college students) showed up at the dining hall to eat, many of us did not sleep, we sought the Lord continuously for three days from Friday evening until Sunday at Noon . God was present in a tangible way as the Spirit hovered over our camp. I recently found my name on a JAIL HEALTH CASE STUDY!  I was assigned to enter into Nightingale Notes by CHAMP Software and as I read through the PATIENT chart you could see fragments of this other persons life, who shared my name.   It reminded me to be always thankful for what I have and always put my personal problems in perspective.  There is always somebody out there dealing with more substantial problems, so be aware of the other guy and the problems they are dealing with. Also jail health nurses are saints! Be slow to get angry ... and quick to forgive.  Or you might find yourself on more than the documentation for a sample case study.  And as we come into this Holiday season let us remember the Lamb of God who gave us our, 'GET OUT OF JAIL FREE! PASS. PASSOVER LAMB = JESUS JESUS EQUALS FREEDOM "YOU SHALL KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE..." AND TRUTH IS A PERSON!

I heard that Starbucks has recently come out saying they are removing all instances of Merry Christ- mas from their products and their stores. This has some church folks wanting to boycott Starbucks... But I say, Wake up and smell the coffee... I do understand that we as a nation have:  Divorced ourselves from a belief in God,  Removed ourselves from honoring His ways.   Denied our origins as a "Christian nation under God" .  Re-writin our history to remove God from its pages distorting our story as a nation, and I find that alarming!  I know, that it appears, ON THE SURFACE that companies like Starbucks seem to be "taking Christ out of Christmas" which we see is an affront to God, however, lets return to this statement in 2 Corinthians...  " For we cannot do anything against the truth, but only for the truth.
