WHAT TIME IS IT?

TIME FOR REFRESHING

But those things which God foretold by the mouth of all His prophets, that the Christ would suffer, He has thus fulfilled. Repent therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, so that times of refreshing may come from the presence of the Lord.  

ACTS 3:18

ISAIAH 52:1-2 

Awake, awake! Put on your strength, O Zion;

Put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city! For the uncircumcised and the unclean Shall no longer come to you.   Shake yourself from the dust, arise; Sit down, O Jerusalem!  Loose yourself from the bonds of your neck,  O captive daughter of Zion! 

 Identity! We need to know who we are in Jesus. We can choose to put on our strength, we can choose to put on our beautiful garments. They indicate that we are indeed children of the Great King. The beautifully embroidered garments of SON-ship.

These are not the woolen garments of outer court service. These are the linen garments of ministry to the Lord. Here even the under garments would be of fine linen, made from flax, speaking of purity and simplicity. The outer garments would be ornately embroidered with many colored patterns to indicate the priestly identity and this would also indicate that the wearer is an heir.  

We need to rouse ourselves, stand up and be counted for righteousness. Putting on the beautiful garments is like a bride getting ready for her wedding.  

ISAIAH 54:1

“Sing, O barren,You who have not borne! Break forth into singing, and cry aloud, You who have not labored with child! For more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married woman,” says the Lord. 

“Enlarge the place of your tent,  

And let them stretch out the curtains of your dwellings; 

Do not spare;  Lengthen your cords,  

And strengthen your stakes.   

For you shall expand to the right and to the left,  

And your descendants will inherit the nations,  

And make the desolate cities inhabited.

After the wedding the couple expects to be expecting.

And if it doesn't happen if there are no babies then it is time to inquire of the LORD. 

Why are we not having new 'born agains, in our gatherings?  
Where are the children? 

When a young couple becomes pregnant, they begin diverting resources to prepare a nursery because they know a baby is coming.  We need to recognize the times we are living in and begin to prepare for a revival because we know the harvest is coming, but will there be storehouses in order to keep the sheaves that are brought in? Therefore extend, expand, prepare, build. 

ISAIAH 60:1-6 

Arise, shine;
For your light has come!
And the glory of the Lord is risen upon you.
 For behold, the darkness shall cover the earth,
And deep darkness the people;
But the Lord will arise over you,
And His glory will be seen upon you.
 The Gentiles shall come to your light,
And kings to the brightness of your rising.

“Lift up your eyes all around, and see:
They all gather together, they come to you;
Your sons shall come from afar,
And your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
 Then you shall see and become radiant,
And your heart shall swell with joy;
