GOD's COUNTDOWN TO ATONEMENT - 2020

THE DAYS OF AWE 2020 from EXODUS 20 As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be also in the days of the Son of Man: They ate, they drank, they married wives, they were given in marriage, until the day that Noah entered the ark, and the flood came and destroyed them all. 

There are ten days between the Feast of Trumpets and the Day Of Atonement. They represent the last ten days before Jesus comes to cast the devil into the pit.
These ten days are the final countdown to the door of grace being closed.
the Days of Awe in which we are measured according to each of the ten commandments. One day is given for each commandment. "he who judges himself has no need for judgment."

9-18-2020 -  at sundown began the first day - 
“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.“You shall have no other gods before Me.

9-19-2020 - at sundown begins the second day - 
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image—any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My commandments.
9-20-2020 - at sundown begins the third day - 
“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.

9-21-2020 - at sundown begins the fourth day -

“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.

9-22-2020 at sundown begins the fifth day - 

“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

9-23-2020 at sundown begins the sixth day - 

 “You shall not murder. 
 9-24-2020 at sundown begins the seventh day - 

 “You shall not commit adultery. 

9-25-2020 at sundown begins the eighth day - 

 “You shall not steal. 

9-26-2020 at sundown begins the ninth day - 

“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.

9-27-2020 at sundown begins the tenth day - 

“You shall not covet your neighbor’s house; you shall not covet your neighbor’s wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor’s.”

 9-28-2020 The Day of Atonement was observed as a HOLY Convocation - it is the only ceremonial fast day - no food or water for 24 hours sundown to sundown. This day looks back on the day that the door on Noah's Ark was shut on the day of the great flood. When the first rains began to fall.  

 This ten-day period starting with Trumpets and ending with Day of Atonement is referred to in Isaiah 58 - 

“Cry aloud, spare not; Lift up your voice like a trumpet;

Tell My people their transgression, And the house of Jacob their sins.

Next time the Day of Atonement

I WAS THERE, GOD DID THAT, AND 45 YEARS LATER I GOT THE HOODIE

This post is about my reoccurring connection to the Minnesota Miracle and how God has kept the dream alive for a revival in Minnesota that He wants to bring to birth.  October 1971 - Minnesota Miracle Seventeen years old and on my way to a weekend retreat at Camp Courage. There I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit on Friday night with many other young people. The rest of that weekend was supernatural, none of us (over 100 high school and college students) showed up at the dining hall to eat, many of us did not sleep, we sought the Lord continuously for three days from Friday evening until Sunday at Noon . God was present in a tangible way as the Spirit hovered over our camp. We all left there changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.  The speaker that weekend was Dick Eastman he went onto North Central Bible college in downtown Mpls. A WRINKLE IN TIME... another JESUS PEOPLE movement?

First the Natural...  The Jesus People Church in Minneapolis begun in 1972, came out of the REVIVAL meetings held 7 days a week for several weeks at Souls Harbor, Downtown Minneapolis in the fall of 1971.  Coincidentally, the congregation at the renewed Jesus People Church now in Rogers, MN set aside Friday, May 2, 2014, for a Jesus People Church Reunion.  They invited all those who were part of the Jesus People Church in Minneapolis during the 70s and 80s; as part of that congregation in the past, my wife and I received a personal invitation to attend. But we did not go the gala event at a ritzy hotel in Minneapolis. Then the Spiritual!  The same weekend, I also received a personal invitation for Saturday, 5/3/14 to hear Cindy Jacobs at the House Church at 2024 Rahn Road in Eagan, MN.
