Day 7 Devotion: A Dream Full of Bullet Holes!

Dear New Sound Saints:

We are looking forward to another wonderful Celebration Service this Sunday morning. During this type of year, music and sound are particularly meaningful. We remember songs from centuries ago, as well as new songs that also help us celebrate this season and the gift of God's Son. Sound creates movement. Furthermore, new sounds break old cycles. In each new age, there are sounds that come forward that express the revelation for that age, and create new levels of understanding. Therefore, I am excited that Robert Heidler will be teaching on "The New Sound Breaks the Old Cycle: The Spiritual Power of Sound!" I hope many of you will be able to join our Special Seasonal Sunday Celebration either onsite, or by webcast.

Day 7 Devotion: A Dream Full of Bullet Holes! Let Your Shield of Faith Be Restored!
One of the pieces of our armor that we put on is the shield of faith! The faith shieldis important because when it is in place, all the fiery darts of the enemy are quenched! The enemy loves to make our faith inactive and not applicable, as we walk through life's circumstances. There are many faith robbers: bitterness, grief, traumas of all types that affect our memories, unbelief, doubt, lack of integrity, fear, and many other issues that can be used by the enemy to stop us from advancing. Rebekah Faubion recently shared a key dream that follows, below, and then prophesied to help us move forward!

I had a dream this past Saturday night. In the dream, I was filled with bullet holes. However, even though I was riddled and leaking life, I continued to move forward. Nobody seemed to care that I had all these bullet holes in me and that I was wounded. I had a knife wound in my stomach and kept shouting, 'I'm bleeding out, I'm going to die!' Everyone around me was nonchalant, uncaring, and kept proceeding forward with their own lives. All I could think was that nobody seemed to notice that I was dying from this! I kept thinking, 'I am going to die and you don't even care!'

The Lord began to speak to me: "You are wounded! You have been wounded and you have allowed yourself to be wounded, and you have ignored the wound until now. I am getting ready to heal the wound in your belly! 
The time for ignoring the wounds in My body has ended. There will be no carrying on or accomplishing My purpose in the wounded season. I am ready to heal the wound in you. The wounding of the past has created a tiredness in you. There has been an exhaustion in you from your wounds and hurts that has caused you to lie down, become passive and even put casualty death covenant and words in motion. Today, I am saying, RISE UP! I am not calling you to lie down. I am calling you right now to get up, get up! Say out loud.
'I am no longer going to sit in a wounded season. I am no longer going to lie down and die and allow you to trample over me, Satan.' Get up! Get up! Receive a new faith energy. New strength will arise and overtake your exhaustion! I say, 'NO MORE!' You say what I AM saying!"

I want to encourage you to SHOUT: NO MORE!!!! Read Psalm 47!!! I also want to suggest you read Restoring Your Shield of Faith by Robert Heidler and me.

I WAS THERE, GOD DID THAT, AND 45 YEARS LATER I GOT THE HOODIE

This post is about my reoccurring connection to the Minnesota Miracle and how God has kept the dream alive for a revival in Minnesota that He wants to bring to birth.  October 1971 - Minnesota Miracle Seventeen years old and on my way to a weekend retreat at Camp Courage. There I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit on Friday night with many other young people. The rest of that weekend was supernatural, none of us (over 100 high school and college students) showed up at the dining hall to eat, many of us did not sleep, we sought the Lord continuously for three days from Friday evening until Sunday at Noon . God was present in a tangible way as the Spirit hovered over our camp. We all left there changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.  The speaker that weekend was Dick Eastman he went onto North Central Bible college in downtown Mpls. A WRINKLE IN TIME... another JESUS PEOPLE movement?

First the Natural...  The Jesus People Church in Minneapolis begun in 1972, came out of the REVIVAL meetings held 7 days a week for several weeks at Souls Harbor, Downtown Minneapolis in the fall of 1971.  Coincidentally, the congregation at the renewed Jesus People Church now in Rogers, MN set aside Friday, May 2, 2014, for a Jesus People Church Reunion.  They invited all those who were part of the Jesus People Church in Minneapolis during the 70s and 80s; as part of that congregation in the past, my wife and I received a personal invitation to attend. But we did not go the gala event at a ritzy hotel in Minneapolis. Then the Spiritual!  The same weekend, I also received a personal invitation for Saturday, 5/3/14 to hear Cindy Jacobs at the House Church at 2024 Rahn Road in Eagan, MN.
