GOD'S SPRING FEASTS - GOD'S PLAN OF REDEMPTION REVEALED!

GOD'S SPRING FEASTS  - GOD'S PLAN OF REDEMPTION REVEALED!

I do NOT have it all figured out, by a long shot. I have had to reverse my position on certain things as I have discovered new information. And I am still learning but I am more convinced than ever about the prophetic significance of the Feasts, especially as they relate to the plan of redemption of mankind. In order to see this, you have to lay the annual feasts over the course of human history,   I use the Golden Gate bridge as my template. (See Picture) to more clearly understand the plan of redemption and the times we are living in.

Currently, we are living in the Final 'Days of Elijah' just left of the second tower.
The 'Days of Elijah' refers to the 'spirit' of Elijah coming before the Messiah in both of His comings.
John the Baptist - was 'Elijah" of the first coming, and Joel speaks of the last days and the Spirit being poured out on all flesh.

Malachi talks about the last days this way.

Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet,  Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord.   And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.”   Malachi 4:5-6

My position on observation of the 'Feasts Of The Lord,' is to be aware of some of the rabbinical traditions but only as a learning tool to discern the spiritual observation as a 'spiritual' Jew.
i.e. We just went through a 13-day process of allowing God to identify and remove the 'leaven' (sin) from our 'houses' (thoughts, attitudes, actions)
We took the following Scripture and carried it physically on us or placed it in a prominent place where it could be seen for thirteen days. And I prayed it through every day multiple times.
"Search me O God and know my heart, try me and know my anxious thoughts, see if there be any hurtful way in me and lead me into the way everlasting."  Psalm 139
APPLICATION
This is how we removed 'leaven' from our 'house'.

Three kinds of leaven are listed in the New Testament and none of them is naturally occurring leaven, they are all spiritual parallels to natural leaven.
1 - Leaven of Herod - Selfish Ambition/Violence - he killed family members to retain the throne2 - Leaven of the Pharisees - Hypocrisy3 - Leaven - Malice & Wickedness
In reality, it is the Holy Spirit who removes the 'leaven' from our houses.

The days we observed and how we observed them were as follows

Abib 1-13 - Removing the Leaven (Psalm 139)  from our 'house' - (sin from our lives) "Let a man examine himself" (1 Cor 11)
Abib 10 - Selecting our Passover Lamb = Taking this day to choose our Messiah again, to choose to depend on His finished work again in His Death, Burial and Resurrection
Abib 12 - Driving the money changers out of the temple = making sure money is not our master
Abib 13  - the Lambless Passover = The Lord's Supper. - renewing our covenant vows the cup of his suffering becomes our cup of redemption
Abib 14 - the Day of Preparation -  PASSOVER = renewing our betrothal vows through communion.
Abib 15 - 21 - Feast of Unleavened Bread - God's ability to keep us pure and devoted, and present us to Christ as the pure and spotless bride.
Sunday at 9 am - Wave Sheaf - Feast of First Fruits -  - the barley sheaf waved before Heaven - rejoicing in our promised bodily resurrection

The next Feast is already being counted down from last Sunday "Wave Sheaf Sunday - 49 days to the Feast of Weeks. Counting the Omer

I have had friends who follow the customs and the law to the letter. Using all the Hebrew names and following all the natural expressions. But I found that at the same time they in many ways may have missed the spiritual aspects. I have another set of friends and family that are ignorant of any significance of the feasts, they pay no attention to them spiritually or naturally and they also miss the benefits.

Personally, I am trying to walk down the center of this highway and stay clear of either ditch. The ditch of Judaism with all its legal requirements and the ditch of 'Romanism, Roman-based" Christianity with all of its pagan holidays, and worldly practices while purposely distancing itself from God's 'set apart' times, relegating them to Jewish antiquity.

My center-of-the-road position gives me the fullest liberty of pursuing God. I am able to relate to either side, by choosing to eat the meat and spit out the bones.

For me, it is more 'life producing' to practice the Feasts in a spiritual way, with the exception of the timing. I do try to perform any (prophetic) actions during the correct time frames as much as is possible. (I observe them in my local time zone, I do not observe them according to Jerusalem's time zone) Whenever I feel legalism creeping in I drop that practice until I can remove all legalism from it.
