JESUS IS GOING TO GET HIS FULL INHERITANCE

The Day of Atonement looks forward prophetically to that day when Jesus ultimately receives His full inheritance, the Nations. In the beginning, the first Adam was given dominion over the whole earth, and Jesus, because He was born of a woman, born under the law, He qualifies as the only sinless 'son' of Adam. Qualified to become the Great King of the whole Earth, Including being given authority/ruling over all nations. He will be crowned the Kings of earthly kings, and the Lord of all temporal lords. 

The Feast of Trumpets (10 days earlier) looks forward to the day that Jesus will be crowned as King of Kings, and Lord of Lords but the Day of Atonement is the day He opens His courts for judgment of the Nations. 

As the judge of the nations, The 'Sheep' Nations he will set on his right, and the 'Goat' nations he will set on His left.
‘Ask it of Me, and I will certainly give the nations as Your inheritance, And the ends of the earth as Your possession. Psalm 2:8
All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people(s) one from another, as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. He will place the sheep on His right and the goats on His left. Matthew 25:32-33

There are four days between Yom Kippur (the 10th day of the seventh month) and the beginning of Tabernacles on the fifteenth day of the seventh month. 

Just as there were four days from the selection of the lamb, (the 10th day of the first month) until the Feast of Unleavened Bread on the fifteenth day of the first month. During those four days, Jesus was judged by four religious sects and four times by secular governments according to the pattern of examining the Passover lamb for four days. 

On that day, Jesus turns the tables on the nations. After being judged for 2000 years, He will judge the nations on whether or not they accepted Him and His righteousness, Confessing Him as Lord? 

That is the ultimate fulfillment of the Day of Atonement? Four days where the King of Kings will, in turn, judge the nations of men, their governments, and the leaders of those nations, separating the 'sheep' nations from the 'goat' nations? Before creating the New Heavens and the New Earth. 

The Number 4 in the bible indicates all considerations i.e. the four (4) directions. 

  1. East
  2. South
  3. West
  4. North
The four winds are mentioned 9 times in Scripture always in the context of prophecy, the final time is in Revelation 7:1 
After these things I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, on the sea, or on any tree.
Jesus was asked hard questions between the day of selection and the day of preparation by four (4) religious groups representing the children of Israel. 
  1. Pharisees, (conservatives)
  2. Herodians (corrupted byGreek philosophy)
  3. Sadducees (liberal-minded religious professionals) 
  4. Scribes (law clerks of ancient Israel 
He was tried four (4) times by legal entities.
  1. The Sanhedrin (in the night)
  2. Pontius Pilate (initially)
  3. Herod 
  4. Pontius Pilate (finally) 
Daniel Chapter 7 talks about the courtroom and the judgment of four world empires.

I watched till thrones were put in place, and the Ancient of Days was seated; his garment was as white as snow, and the hair of His head was like pure wool. His throne was a fiery flame, its wheels a burning fire; A fiery stream issued forth from before Him. A thousand, thousands (a million) ministered to Him; Ten thousand times ten thousand (100 million) stood before Him.

The court was seated, and the books were opened. I watched because of the sound of the pompous words which the horn was speaking; I waited till the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning flame. As for the rest of the beasts, they had their dominion taken away, yet their lives were prolonged for a season and a time.

I was watching in the night visions and behold, One like the Son of Man, Coming with the clouds of Heaven! He came to the Ancient of Days and they brought Him near before Him.

Then to Him was given dominion and glory and a kingdom, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and His kingdom the one which shall not be destroyed. 

I Daniel was grieved in my spirit within my body, and the visions of my head troubled me. I came near to one of those who stood by and asked him the truth of all this. So, he told me and made known to me the interpretation of these things: Those great beasts, which were four, are four kings who arise out of the earth.

But the Saints of the Most-High shall receive the kingdom, and possess the kingdom forever, even forever and ever.

This post is about my reoccurring connection to the Minnesota Miracle and how God has kept the dream alive for a revival in Minnesota that He wants to bring to birth.  October 1971 - Minnesota Miracle Seventeen years old and on my way to a weekend retreat at Camp Courage. There I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit on Friday night with many other young people. The rest of that weekend was supernatural, none of us (over 100 high school and college students) showed up at the dining hall to eat, many of us did not sleep, we sought the Lord continuously for three days from Friday evening until Sunday at Noon . God was present in a tangible way as the Spirit hovered over our camp. We all left there changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.  The speaker that weekend was Dick Eastman he went onto North Central Bible college in downtown Mpls. A WRINKLE IN TIME... another JESUS PEOPLE movement?

First the Natural...  The Jesus People Church in Minneapolis begun in 1972, came out of the REVIVAL meetings held 7 days a week for several weeks at Souls Harbor, Downtown Minneapolis in the fall of 1971.  Coincidentally, the congregation at the renewed Jesus People Church now in Rogers, MN set aside Friday, May 2, 2014, for a Jesus People Church Reunion.  They invited all those who were part of the Jesus People Church in Minneapolis during the 70s and 80s; as part of that congregation in the past, my wife and I received a personal invitation to attend. But we did not go the gala event at a ritzy hotel in Minneapolis. Then the Spiritual!  The same weekend, I also received a personal invitation for Saturday, 5/3/14 to hear Cindy Jacobs at the House Church at 2024 Rahn Road in Eagan, MN.
