============================Another timely connection between our blogs, Gathered Around the Fire and God's Kingdom Ministries - Stephen Jones,
I wrote a post about reversing the curse and quoted part of 2 Corinthians 5 about the finished work of Christ. Well, today Dec 18 I went to Stephen's blog and read the Dallas conference report and found a couple of interesting things...
From God's Kingdom Ministries...Our first appeal to receive this dominion came on
November 29, 1993* during the Jubilee Prayer Campaign Although our appeal was won, it took 20 years to complete. On November 14-30, 1996 we saw the first major sign of this transfer of dominion when the Coronation Stone was transferred from London to Edinburgh.
On Nov. 29/30, 2000** we saw a fuller transfer of authority at the end of the 7 ½ year transition from Saul to David... - See more at: http://www.gods-kingdom-ministries.net/daily-weblogs/2013/12-2013/dallas-conference-report/#sthash.QRTQhyzJ.dpuf
*This was the weekend in 1993 when My wife Diane and I spent the entire weekend with our son Micah in the critical care unit at the University of Minnesota, Hospital. We almost lost him that weekend, at 20 months.
** this was the date that ended my 90 day sabbatical in late 2000, after the laying down of Jubilee.
Dr. Stephen Jones continues,
With the completion of this transfer of authority in 2013, we must now seek God’s face to know how to use this authority and what to do with it. It is important to align all of our actions with His perfect will, rather than seek to establish our own will or to do what we think God ought to do.
If there is anything we have learned over the years, it is that we are to be the Amen people of God. We are not to make God the Amen of men, for that usurps authority and is characteristic of antichrist.
Being Ambassadors of the Kingdom
When Jesus paid the price for the sin of the world at the cross, He also reconciled all of creation, making peace with all enemies. Paul tells us that we are called as ambassadors of the Kingdom. We are sent to the world with a message of peace that the world does not yet know or understand. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 says,
18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were entreating through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.We now can apply this more specifically in our present context, because the war against the saints has now ended. Well, not exactly. We are doing what Jesus did as a result of His reconciliation at the cross. Just as He declared peace to the world in the overall sense, so also have we declared peace to those who have made war against the saints. Our declaration is more specific and applies to the corrupt church of the “little horn” that has waged war against the overcomers. It is David declaring peace to the House of Saul.
