PURIM 2021 - SUNDOWN TODAY AND A WORD FOR THE SUPREME COURT
Purim 2021 tonight at sundown
You may remember that I mentioned that I felt God saying to me in December 2019 that I should watch Purim in 2020 (which fell on March 9-11). The W.H.O. declared Corona Virus to be a worldwide pandemic on March 11, 2020 (Purim Shushan or Purim Susa).
One entire year has passed from that date on the biblical calendar. Tonight at sundown we enter Purim 2021 (Feb 24-26)
Her word involves God trying the judicial branch of government including the Supreme Court in an open courtroom of Heaven. Their most recent justice who was called an 'Esther' (Haddasah) by some prophetic voices. The word includes the entire judicial branch across the country. It is time for us to pray for God to triumph over His enemies.
BACKGROUND
Purim fell in the twelfth month of Adar and on the 13th day, the 14th day was added for the people of God to carry out judgment one more day specifically in the capital city of the empire thus Purim (Shushan or SUSA). this extra day would correlate to God overpowering his enemies in Washington D.C. the capital of 'S-USA' in our day.
Esther 9:1-3
On the thirteenth day of the twelfth month, the month of Adar, the edict commanded by the king was to be carried out. On this day the enemies of the Jews (people of God) had hoped to overpower them, but now the tables were turned and the Jews (people of God) got the upper hand over those who hated them.
v13-15 “If it pleases the king,” Esther answered, “give the Jews in Susa permission to carry out this day’s edict tomorrow also, and let Haman’s ten sons be impaled on poles.” So the king commanded that this be done. An edict was issued in Susa, and they impaled the ten sons of Haman. The Jews in Susa came together on the fourteenth day of the month of Adar, and they put to death in Susa three hundred men, but they did not lay their hands on the plunder.
In that sense tonight at sundown begins Purim on Friday the 13th of Adar. I am not superstitious, I am just following the numbers. Friday eve to Saturday eve is the 14th of Adar (Purim Susa) and also the weekly Sabbath (day of rest) In the sense of Purim (Susa) to put to bed the anti-Christ Spirit) that wanted to destroy the holy seed coming through the people of God. This is also eleven months from the date they cast the pur.
They cast the PUR in the first month on the 13th day.
Centuries later Jesus would be betrayed on the eve of the 13th of the first month but would win the victory for us on the 14th of Abib. We know it as Passover. The enemy of God had a plan for our destruction in the garden, you could say the 'pur was cast. But Jesus wrote a law that superseded the law of Sin and Death and offered the disciples the cup after the meal on the 13th of the first month. And said, "this is my blood of the New Covenant which is given for you, as often as you drink it drink it in remenbrance of me."
His blood speaks a better word an overarching deliverance and at the same time wreaks destruction on the destroyer and all of his plans of destruction.
Saturday Night after sundown should be a celebration of God intervening on behalf of his people. It is time to eat cake and celebrate! Kat Kerr has been encouraging us to do this for three months now.
Purim Established
v20 Mordecai recorded these events, and he sent letters to all the Jews throughout the provinces of King Xerxes, near and far, 21 to have them celebrate annually the fourteenth and fifteenth days of the month of Adar 22 as the time when the Jews got relief from their enemies, and as the month when their sorrow was turned into joy and their mourning into a day of celebration. He wrote them to observe the days as days of feasting and joy and giving presents of food to one another and gifts to the poor.
