IS PASSOVER AN OLD COVENANT OR NEW COVENANT EVENT?
DOES PASSOVER BELONG TO THE JEWS OR DOES IT BELONG TO THE CHURCH?
I know that most of the Church are somewhat ignorant of the seven Appointed Times of the Lord laid out in Leviticus 23.
Most think of Passover as a strictly Jewish Holiday, and that it has no bearing on the New Covenant Church.

JESUS is our PASSOVER LAMB
Jesus, was meticulous in carrying out each of the legal details of ALL SEVEN of the Appointed Times of the Lord during His earthly ministry? This is the first of the Seven, if we can prove that this festival is more connected to the New Connected then to the Old Covenant then it follows that the other six might also be more connected to the New Covenant.

On the very same day, that Israel was commanded to select their "spotless" Passover lamb, Jesus makes a prophetic declaration by following the "national" Passover lamb through the city of Jerusalem. Saying in essence "I am the Passover Lamb".
Four days later on the 14th of Nisan Jesus gives up his Ghost at the exact prescribed hour for the Passover lamb to die. But taking this even farther, the Father many centuries previous had arranged a cosmic event for this very day (centuries later) that prevented any other lamb from pre-empting Jesus', laying down His life.
I Corinthians 11:25 is quoted at almost every communion service across many churches, and here is what it says about the Passover Meal and the New Covenant Church.
that the Lord Jesus on the same night in which He was betrayed took bread;24 and when He had given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat; this is My body which is broken for you; do this in remembrance of Me.”25 In the same manner He also took the cup after supper, saying, “This cup is the new covenant in My blood. This do, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of Me.”26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.
