IN THE WOW ZONE! with Intercessors and ANGELS

I attended the round table meeting of the HAPN Heartland Apostolic Prayer Network today at the WOW ZONE in Mankato. We started with acapella worship and during the second song while I had my eyes closed, I saw two figures dressed in white enter the room and take up positions at the two diagonal comers of the room and they remained there during our meeting.

I did not share immediately with the group what I saw. In fact I didn't share it until much later when it came time to commission Phil Hess, as HAPN Coordinator for Blue Earth County. It struck me then, that was why we had angelic visitors, they were here as a witness from heaven of the commissioning.
We had this happen once at CFC during a presbytery there. Once the angels arrived the meeting took on a marked prophetic dimension. During the discourse, a brother from Jordan, MN shared the following verse from an old hymn.

The Love of God verse 3

Could we with ink the ocean fill, And were the skies of parchment made. Were every stalk on earth a quill, And every man a scribe by trade; To write the love of God above Would drain the ocean dry; Nor could the scroll contain the whole, Though stretched from sky to sky.

Frederick Lehman tells us that verse 3 “had been found penciled on the wall of a patient’s room in an insane asylum after he had been carried to his grave.”
While it is only a supposition that he was the one who adapted the Jewish author’s poem to leave us these well-known lines, if the account is true it shows in any case that he highly esteemed the poem.

After he shared this song with us, I shared a picture I had received in prayer a month or so ago just prior to the feast of Pentecost.

The picture I saw was of the two stone tablets and the hand of God first cutting them out of the mountain and then with his extended forefinger carving the words of the commandments into the stone face.
As I looked at the two tablets side by side with their arched tops...Then superimposed over the tablets a heart appeared, it looked like etched glass, the two arches of the stone tablets matched the two arches of the classic heart shape. It looked like it was made from silicon but it also had the properties of a magnifying glass, when the law was viewed through the heart it was magnified, rather than diminished.
Jeremiah 31:31 speaks of the New Covenant God promises to establish, where He removes the Stoney tablets of our hearts and replaces them with a heart of flesh and then He writes the law on our hearts.

About the writing of the law of love on our hearts by the Spirit of God. See the article on Pentecost, (Feast of Weeks)

Taken from the line in the song above - “if every stalk a quill and every man a scribe by trade” ...
I saw each one of us as if we were a fountain* pen or a quill. As the writing instrument in His hand with which to write the love of God onto the parchment of one another’s lives.

We each are a scribe and what we say about people and situations, matters a great deal, it is in effect writing future history.
38 He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water.”39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified..
With it we bless our God and Father, and with it we curse men, who have been made in the similitude of God. 10 Out of the same mouth proceed blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not to be so. 11 Does a spring send forth fresh water and bitter from the same opening? James 3:9-11

BLESS & CURSE NOT!

The power of life... and the power of death is in the tongue. We generally spend most of our time talking about the power of death, in the tongue and by doing so we miss the opportunity and the power to speak life.

Whenever we speak, out of the letter of the law, we speak condemnation and death to the hearer, because we speak from the tablets of stone.

Whenever we speak out of the new covenant heart of flesh, we speak new covenant life to the hearer from out of the abundance of our hearts, we speak the Spirit of the law since the lawgiver is a Spirit and He dwells in our hearts.

Watch over your heart with all diligence,  For from it flow the springs of life.”  Proverbs 4:23

The good news is that the tablets of stone were forever broken at the cross. They have also been cast down with all the other weapons formed against us by our enemy (the accuser of the brethren) who is continually accusing us before the Father.

13 And you, being dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses,
14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us.  And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. 15 Having disarmed principalities and powers, He made a public spectacle of them, triumphing over them in it.
