WE ARE AUTHORIZED DISTRIBUTORS OF CHESED  (God's Loving Kindness) or favor.

My wife Diane and I are celebrating 21 years in Mankato today, we moved out of our home in Rosemount, MN and into to our Mankato house on East Main street on July 31, 1993. We moved largely because we felt God had led us to come here to be part of what He was going to do.

 Prophetic Word - July 1992 He was going to restore, redeem and revitalize this city. He indicated that he was going to be replacing the leadership in five areas of authority in this city/region.


  1. First, in His house(s) of worship, those who represent ecclesiastic authority
  2. Second in the business community, those who represent financial power
  3. Third in the political arena, those who represent political power
  4. Fourth in the educational arena, those who represent educational authority  
  5. Lastly in the spiritual atmosphere (spiritual powers and principalities)  
My last post shows how Mankato has been moving up the charts of most desirable places to seek a career or own a business over the last four years from 25th in the nation to 3rd in the nation. 

YOU MAY REMEMBER THIS EXCERPT TAKEN FROM A PREVIOUS POST OF MINE.

Twenty (kaph) = Expectancy & Redemption

Two (2) events from 20 yrs. ago and two (2) meanings associated with the number 20.
    • July 31, 1993 - 20 yrs. ago I came to Mankato 20 = Expectancy + Redemption
    • July 28, 1993 - 20 yrs. ago I received a Prophetic word, you have run the 100-yard dash, you have run the 440, you have run the mile, but now I am preparing you to run the marathon.
Kaph is a palm, an open hand, in Hebrew. It signifies giving freely with the palm up, or covering sin with the palm down.
There is some disagreement on the meaning of the number 20. Bullinger quotes Dr. Milo Mahan and appears to agree with him that it is the number of expectancy. Ed Vallow says it means Redemption.
Bullinger cites Gen. 21:38, 41 saying that Jacob waited expectantly 20 years to get possession of his wives and property before being released. However, this could also indicate that it took 20 years for Jacob to be redeemed from bondage.
Bullinger also cites Judges 4:3, showing that Israel waited 20 years to be delivered from Jabin's oppression. However, we could also say that Israel was redeemed from bondage after 20 years.
As we finish out this 20th year of expectancy or release from bondage, I think back to how the year started... during the last ten days of our prayer campaign.

Our 40-Day Prayer Campaign Last year  (Aug. - Sept. 2013) we set aside 40 days to pray for this region to return to the Lord and for an end to the famine (of God's Word).

The 'seven sons' declared a Jubilee year last September on Yom Kippur, which is traditionally known as a day of sorrow and total fasting, from food and water. It is commonly called the Day of Atonement this day of sorrow is the closest corollary to the suffering and death of Jesus Christ as he purchased our atonement.  He even refused a drink when it was offered on the cross.

 We called for sons and daughters to come back to Mankato. Jubilee means everyone returns to their land and to their inheritance. So as part of this prayer campaign we prayed for the return of the native people of the Dakota nation to Minnesota. This is their land of inheritance, we prayed for restitution to come to them in the form of money jobs and lands. So their broken hearts would be healed.

Now the tough question...

Where do we go from here?  We are coming up on the fall festivals and we need to hear from the Holy Spirit, what He wants us to do. Do we conduct another 40 days of prayer?
Do we fast and pray? Do we attend the Tabernacles Conference in Minneapolis?

 14 days after this post the Thursday night prayer group met for the last time. I was reminded by God, I told me to go to Potter's House of Prayer and so I did I stayed there until January of 2017 when they dropped to only one day a week.

I WAS THERE, GOD DID THAT, AND 45 YEARS LATER I GOT THE HOODIE

This post is about my reoccurring connection to the Minnesota Miracle and how God has kept the dream alive for a revival in Minnesota that He wants to bring to birth.  October 1971 - Minnesota Miracle Seventeen years old and on my way to a weekend retreat at Camp Courage. There I received the baptism of the Holy Spirit on Friday night with many other young people. The rest of that weekend was supernatural, none of us (over 100 high school and college students) showed up at the dining hall to eat, many of us did not sleep, we sought the Lord continuously for three days from Friday evening until Sunday at Noon . God was present in a tangible way as the Spirit hovered over our camp. We all left there changed by the power of the Holy Spirit.  The speaker that weekend was Dick Eastman he went onto North Central Bible college in downtown Mpls. A WRINKLE IN TIME... another JESUS PEOPLE movement?

First the Natural...  The Jesus People Church in Minneapolis begun in 1972, came out of the REVIVAL meetings held 7 days a week for several weeks at Souls Harbor, Downtown Minneapolis in the fall of 1971.  Coincidentally, the congregation at the renewed Jesus People Church now in Rogers, MN set aside Friday, May 2, 2014, for a Jesus People Church Reunion.  They invited all those who were part of the Jesus People Church in Minneapolis during the 70s and 80s; as part of that congregation in the past, my wife and I received a personal invitation to attend. But we did not go the gala event at a ritzy hotel in Minneapolis. Then the Spiritual!  The same weekend, I also received a personal invitation for Saturday, 5/3/14 to hear Cindy Jacobs at the House Church at 2024 Rahn Road in Eagan, MN.
