10-3-2013 - It is Thursday Night ...

We are gathering to pray right now, what are you doing tonight?

Perhaps you could join us from wherever you are and then check back here tomorrow and see how we were led in prayer tonight.    See you back here soon...

                                                           ==========

Just after posting the first paragraph, I was on my way to prayer, driving down the hill, praying as I went.  I was asking the Lord, "What is on your heart?"   Lord,  "I really want to know what is on your heart."   "Please, tell me what is important to you tonight, I want to know."

Almost instantly a song came to mind and I started singing it during the last couple of blocks of my short journey.
Where You go I'll go
What You say I'll say
What You pray I'll pray
What You pray I'll pray
Jesus only said, what the Father said'
He would only do, what He saw You doing.

I arrived at the place where we gather to pray and some soft worship music was playing. There was a little levity in the room and some kidding was going on as I walked in. We have achieved a sort of comfortable, closeness over the years that allows levity and serious prayer to co-exist in very close proximity to each other.

God is a humorous God. Contrary to what the enemy would have you believe about God, He is also fun-loving, laughs, cries, and enjoys us more than we dare to believe. And why shouldn't He made us, He knit us together in our mother's wombs?  He looked at the first man and said it is very good.

Back to the prayer meeting, because it was a light atmosphere, I just yelled over the music to ask Aaron if we could put on the song I mentioned above. There was no immediate response, so I got out my guitar, tuned it, and began to play another song. Soon I realized that I was competing with a louder song and when I looked up at Aaron, he yelled back, "this is your song." I said, thank you, put down my guitar, and began to worship to the song. Singing it back to God.

Where you go I'll go
What you say I'll say
What you pray I'll pray
What you pray I'll pray

As we honored the Lord with that song, the atmosphere in the room changed and the presence of the Lord became obvious. Within a moment or two everybody was active in private worship to the Lord.

As I mentioned one of our members came in with a new song. However, It wasn't shared until the very end of the meeting at 10:00 pm

Don shared a vision he had seen, of a whirlwind sitting on top of the head of a pastor in the region. He asked right away if I could pray over him and ask God to help him unpack and deliver the vision. I prayed for him for a few minutes and we sensed the presence of God flowing, I specifically prayed out of a picture I was seeing, I saw a crimson mantle, that I threw over Don. I declared that I was throwing my prophetic mantle over Don for understanding revelation, and application. Don got up almost immediately and began praying over others around the room, it was not clockwise or counterclockwise it was sort of random. He ended his prayer walk on me.

I had been playing my guitar during the whole process. I knew he was about to pray for me so I postured my spirit to be open to receive whatever the Lord wanted after all I had asked Him What is on your mind?

As Don and others continued to pray over me I started laughing under my breath because God showed me something so precious but it was humorous too.  Don and others were praying out the secret things that I have shared with the Lord. they were praying about things the devil has tried to steal from me and my family. What was so funny and yet precious was that I had asked God what is on your heart? I really want to know what is on your mind, and in your thoughts tonight? And His answer was, "You, you are on my mind tonight"

At one point Don said the reason he continued to pray over me for so long and had the group join him was that he saw the Holy Spirit opposite me but we were face to face.  It struck me, we come to meetings asking God what we can do for Him, but there He is, face to face with us, saying, "look what I have done for you."

It became obvious, that what God really had on his heart tonight was me, was us. He had our well-being, our prosperity, our safety, our joy, our calling, our hearts, on His mind, but above all He wanted us to know how much He loved us.

I wanted to hear His voice so I could bless Him,
so I asked, "what is your highest goal tonight?" and he answered, you are!
What is on your mind?
You are. your family, your prosperity, your life, your worries, your cares, your struggles, your joy, your victories, your love for Me.

I was blown away by His Love for me.

So let me share this prophetic revelation with you. Tonight, right now...
the Almighty God, the High King over all the earth,
His greatest concern tonight is you.
His thoughts are focused on you, His beloved.
His greatest goal is that you would discover the height, depth, the breadth of His love.
because it will free you from all condemnation, from self or by others.
It will release you to be loving toward others.

Dear one, he is not concerned about your performance tonight.
He has eyes only for you. So, if I am to pray according to what is in His heart tonight, then I am going to pray for me to discover the love of God toward me.

Maybe it is too simple to grasp, maybe if you read through this again, it may become clearer,
He loves you and He doesn't care so much for your productivity as for your communion.

Talk to Daddy God, He loves you.

The song our friend shared at the end of the meeting was about God crying for us. There were too many verses to capture the words here, but the chorus goes
I am crying for you,
I am crying for you,
I am crying for you
This song came in the minutes just preceding the meeting tonight jotted on a piece of paper in pencil in the car outside the place where we pray, and played on the piano in our prayer room we sang it together.

The theme is taken from Jesus weeping over Jerusalem because they did not recognize the day of their visitation. Let us not miss the day of His visitation, let us know the height, the depth, the breadth of His love toward us, and let us walk in the good works He has established for us to walk in before the foundations of the World were laid.
