TNP - RECEIVING THE GOLDEN CENSOR

TNP – June 21, 2012

6:30 pm-7:00 pm
I came early and worked on playing “Walk in the Promise” as well as other Bethel songs from the loft series.

7:00 pm-7:30 pm
Last week we prayer-walked the neighborhood between Madison Avenue and Main Street.

This week we stayed at the building. We prayed for the corporate meeting next Wednesday night.

David S. - came back directly from his Sozo Encounter in Burnsville.
He also shared the story of receiving a vision during his Sozo session. When we asked the question Jesus what do you want to give me? He received a golden censer from the Lord, fitted with a golden chain. The censor grew in his hand until it was 10 times its original size.

The Golden Censor is a symbol of the priesthood but specifically of priestly intercession.

We can expect intercessory prayer to increase in the next season. Perhaps a tenfold increase in prayer.

This picture Indicates that intercessory prayer is going to grow in his hands. As we are faithful to handle the prayer, as incense put on the fire, in the censor.

48 Thus Solomon had all the furnishings made for the house of the Lord: the altar of gold, and the table of gold on which was the showbread; 49 the lampstands of pure gold, five on the right side and five on the left in front of the inner sanctuary, with the flowers and the lamps and the wick-trimmers of gold; 50 the basins, the trimmers, the bowls, the ladles, and the censers of pure gold; and the hinges of gold, both for the doors of the inner room (the Most Holy Place)and for the doors of the main hall of the temple. I Kings 7:48
And another angel came and stood over the altar. He had a golden censer, and he was given very much incense (fragrant spices and gums which exhale perfume when burned), that he might mingle it with the prayers of all the people of God (the saints) upon the golden altar before the throne.  Revelation 8:3
NOTE: Censers were typically made of Bronze, as was the altar, however in Solomon's day the censers were made of pure gold. So this is very interesting that it was a golden censor, either in Solomon's day, I Kings 7 when censers were gold because of the wealth of the day, or in the New Jerusalem in Revelation 8:3 where gold is also common.
