TNP - AT ZIKLAG....EVERYTHING IS RECOVERED
TNP – May 24, 2012, Ziklag - chasing the enemy to recover what was
lost
We
started out by watching Bethel's music “The Loft Sessions” DVD.
We met in the upstairs classroom area since the baby shower for Jennifer K. was going on downstairs.
Andy G. was lost in worship right from the get-go, and Don and I were enjoying the video of people passionately worshiping with
a sense of joyful exuberance.
We watched and worshiped God for most of an hour.
Don mentioned something about David (King of Israel) strengthening himself in the Lord.

David S. - I heard
the Lord say “at Ziklag - everything is recovered”
David and his men had just come back from a victorious raid, they arrived home on the third day only to find out that their enemies had come in and taken everything that was precious to them; their wives, their sons, their daughters, their flocks, their herds, and all their household goods.
The men were ready to stone David, Scripture says, but David strengthened
himself in the Lord,
Then he inquired of the Lord. “Should we go up after them?” God told him everything would be recovered in full.

David’s Conflict with the Amalekites
30 Now it happened, when David and his men came to Ziklag, on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the South and Ziklag, attacked Ziklag and burned it with fire, 2 and had taken captive the women and those who were there, from small to great; they did not kill anyone, but carried them away and went their way. 3 So David and his men came to the city, and there it was, burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive.4 Then David and the people who were with him lifted up their voices and wept, until they had no more power to weep.5 And David’s two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the widow of Nabal the Carmelite, had been taken captive. 6 Now David was greatly distressed, for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and his daughters. But David strengthened himself in the Lord his God...
8 So David inquired of the Lord, saying, “Shall I pursue this troop? Shall I overtake them?”And He answered him, “Pursue, for you shall surely overtake them and without fail recover all.
17 Then David attacked them from twilight until the evening of the next day. Not a man of them escaped, except four hundred young men who rode on camels and fled. 18 So David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away, and David rescued his two wives. 19 And nothing of theirs was lacking, either small or great, sons or daughters, spoil or anything which they had taken from them; David recovered all. 20 Then David took all the flocks and herds they had driven before those other livestock, and said, “This is David’s spoil.”
8:30 Pm Don put on the song Angels – Brain Johnson from “The
Loft Sessions” CD on during this time. “Calling all angels, calling the watchman angels on the
wall”
We prayed and
prophesied over each person their recovery of everything the enemy had taken
from them.
It seemed that the
focus was specifically on attacks meant to take away:
- family
- relationships
- health
- security
Towards the end of the night, we still had not prayed for Tim W or Don M. I asked them both, “did you
have anything that the word about Ziklag stirred up in you?”
They both said, “I think I am ‘good’.”
But we prayed for them anyway....first we prayed over Tim and Becky and then as we started
praying over Don it hit me that Lori’s problems with her eyes and Muriel’s eye
problems would fall under the Ziklag promise that everything would be
recovered.
So we prayed the Promise of everything being restored over
both of the men (Nobel & Don) for their wives' sight to be restored.
