01-03-2013 - Is this your Promised Land?
Don said he saw icicles on us melting and dropping to
the ground.
He compared it to a story about his relative driving a vehicle driving through a blizzard in the mountains and getting totally caked with ice then when they descended to hitting warmer climates at lower altitudes, the ice dropped off the vehicle leaving a pile of ice in the shape of the van.

People
gradually became more animated in prayer and movements. Brad came in late and
Phil even later, we were already mostly through the soaking time.
The question God asked him was, “is this your Promised Land?”
Mankato remembers the hanging of 38 Dakota Indians in reconciliation park, after 150 years. The City of Mankato installed a sculpture that looks like buckskin stretched on poles and bears the names of the 38 men who died here in 1862.
Brad had many pictures and words… some of his comments reminded me of the things I
heard in 1992 when I first came here,
- “no great work outside the four walls of the church has happened here.”
- “Dark place,”
- “the enemy is a giant”
- “Jezebel spirit sitting on the hill”
- “The flock of Black Crows” etc.
No
doubt there is warfare and perhaps there is a curse to be broken but it is TO
BE BROKEN, not talked about as though it were unbreakable.
The anointing breaks the yoke so the anointing has to increase. But if we have already credited the enemy with the victory, maybe that is why we do not see forward momentum. Maybe that is why so few pray for things outside the scope of family and friends.
IS THIS YOUR PROMISED LAND?
Why
is it called the promised land?
Because
it is promised to us.
·
“I will take this city" and it will become a
city of refuge.
·
I
HAVE ALREADY GIVEN IT TO YOU!
·
NOW
GO IN AND POSSESS IT!
Mantles dropped by the way
We
prayed about Apostolic-Prophetic-Evangelist-Pastor-Teacher mantles that have
been dropped by others as they have left either the vision, the region, or the
earth.
Don & I compiled a partial list of the folks who had fivefold callings and left Mankato without fulfilling them here.
Don
gave me a book, Intimidation by John Bevere and he brought copies of the happy
intercessor by Beni Johnson.
